The general goal of the group project "Arrangement of the water supply and sewage disposal system in the area of Wołomin – Kobyłka agglomeration" is to increase the economic and social cohesion in the area of the realization of the project. This aim will be achieved by the improvement of the quality of environment in the area covered by the project.

The realization of the Project is connected to the realization of the general goal of the ecological policy of the state, namely the assurance of the ecological safety of the Polish society in the 21st century. The process of the integration with the European Union constitutes an important support of the actions aiming to achieve the new main goal of the state policy.

• Potable water
• Sediment management
• Air pollution

Thanks to the Project, the inhabitants of Wołomin and Kobyłka will gain:

• Improvement of the potable water quality
• More efficient protection of surface and ground waters
• Proper draining off of the rain water in the area of Wołomin
• Access to modern water-supply and sewage infrastructure
